We congratulate our colleagues on the 30th anniversary of the founding of the REO branch in Kyritz. The founding of the branch in 1991 marked the beginning of a new chapter in REO’s history. In the buildings of the former EAB, REO Kyritz began producing ring-frame resistors. With a handful of employees, but always with heart and a special connection to the location. Today, the Kyritz site, with more than 90 employees, forms an important component within the REO family. For example, components for wind turbines or water-cooled resistors for e-mobility are manufactured. The view into the future is also evident right next to the main building, where a dedicated wind turbine produces enough energy for the in-house e-charging stations.
Jennifer Baatz, Site Manager REO Kyritz, summarizes: “It has been 30 years since an idea became reality and we started production at this special location. We have always kept up with the times and have been able to set important impulses in production quality, from robotics to vertical winding. . Baatz adds, smiling: “After 30 years, we have not only been able to expand our workforce to over 90 employees, but also to secure some valuable opportunities within our own domain.”
We wish REO Kyritz all the best for the next 30 years!
