Harmonic filter
Suppression of conducted interference
REO harmonic filters are used for the reduction of the THD (Total Harmonic Distortion).
The harmonic currents will be so strongly suppressed that a THD of less than 5% is achieved (for example in uninterruptible power supply systems).
Furthermore, the reactive power is reduced by a harmonic filter (e.g. REOWAVEpassive) and up to 30% of energy is saved.
